With the launch of a clothing line last winter, taking on the roll of Editor in Chief for The Bellflower Bulletin, anticipating the publication of two new books due to be released very soon, and the upcoming premier of Trend Magazine, Tammye says 2012 is sure to fly by.
Just a few years ago, Tammye experienced several life changing events, and asked herself, “Now what?” She knew she had to find her passion. She now says, “We all want a better life. Sometimes we just need help to look for it, and now coming from a place of ‘Heart Centered Living,’ I know I can help others.”
Tammye has 25 years in the event planning industry, from private soirées to public charities. Currently, her own wedding plans are in full swing and this usually cool, calm, and collected event planner is overwhelmed!
Making the transition from corporate executive to freelance artist was risky with an uncertain outcome. Then, to her amazement, she found there was an audience for her passion – writing.
Now Tammye is involved with, and committed to, many writing and writing-related projects ranging from business administration to Magik! Her perspective on life as ‘stranger than fiction’ gives her a lot to work with when writing.
The past two years have offered many opportunities, from being accepted as a journalist for the L.A. Examiner.com, to having her first story about “Roxanne, the Rotten Weiler” published, and being given the tremendous distinction of Senior Writer for a new lifestyle
magazine, DowneyConnect. She felt honored to have her work featured in SageWoman magazine, and thrilled when contacted to write her first television interview.
