Inner Lately – Today @ 4PM EST – Beth’s guest today is Deana Ruggieri founder of the GROWTH Foundation to provide supportive services to at-risk youth. There she engaged participants in enriching community service activities while helping them prepare for high school graduation and beyond. In 2013 she and co-author Tom Nelson published Children of War: The Mike Rodriguez Story in an effort to help kids in need, and to secure the legacy of Mike Rodriguez whose dream it was to help youth break the crippling pattern of abuse and addiction. Deana earned her Master’s Degree in Public Administration and has served her community for over 20 years as a teacher, volunteer and board member for several non-profit organizations.
