She has spent years on the stage, performing all over the world. Everything changed when the 46-year-old O’Brien felt something on her breast. When she went to the doctor, the results were immediate. But Angel O’Brien is only one piece of this puzzle. Her older sister, Brenda, was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months before her. A few months after Angel’s diagnosis, her oldest sister, Kathleen, was diagnosed with the disease. In less than one year, their lives were turned upside down.
