Jan Manarite is a wife, caregiver and advocate for a metastatic prostate cancer patient. When her husband was diagnosed 12 years ago, his PSA was over 7,000(!) with extensive bone metastases. Their son was 9-years-old. Jan learned how to use the internet for research, and became an empowered advocate for her husband. She found help through the Prostate Cancer Research Institute where she currently works as the Senior Educational Facilitator, working from her home in Florida helping other patients and caregivers in their own cancer journeys.
