SEXY AFTER CANCER: DIAGNOSIS S.O.S., Tues., Aug. 21st, 2:00 p.m. EST on www.W4WN.com and www.W4CS.com

40-90% of women experience sexual difficulties as a result of breast cancer treatment. Even twenty years later, 50% continue to experience difficulties. Breast cancer treatment can play havoc with your self esteem. And feeling attractive after cancer treatments, especially mastectomy or other surgery, may seem unimaginable to the survivor. Besides the “normal” side effects of cancer treatment, patients may also experience emotional side effects like shame or feeling like damaged goods. There may be sexual side effects, like painful intercourse or a complete loss of your libido. Sexy After Cancer goes beyond just “talking about it.” My guest is Barbara Musser, author of Sexy After Cancer ~ Meeting Your Inner Aphrodite on the Breast Cancer Journey.
